Forum Issues....
I have finally received an answer on the forum issues, the site has been up and down for a fortnight and puts it under serious threat that people will stop logging on, please bear with us, I say us, we are in the hands of the hosters and they say the servers are full and are working on a new solution.
I wrote to them:

Hi,
I have just read that you have purchased www.forumer.com<http://www.forumer.com>
I have owned a forum on this site for 6 years, building up a niche market in the Wisden arena.
Unfortunately the forum has been down for the last week and no one is on hand to let us know what is happening,
All I can do is look on server 2 of http://www.forumer.com/status.php and it has a red dot.
After 6 years hard work, it could be destroyed in 6 days, as I cannot even contact the users to tell them the forum is down and when it should return.
There is also no back up data or the ability to move to a new server as the owners keep the data very close to their chest,
Any advice would be very much appreciated, if your new purchase is running this way all of the quality forums will move elsewhere, I am certanly looking.
Kind regards,
Chris Ridler

I received a reply:
Hello,
We are working to move the sites to new servers on a more stable network, which will greatly minimized the current issues from happening in the future. We will post progress updates in the announcement on the Forumer support forums. You can see the first of such announcements here: http://fhq.forumer.com/announcements/93549-update-forumer-upgrades.html
We appreciate your patience during this process and look forward to providing a better experience for all sites.
Regards,
Stephen

I added :
Dear Stephen,
Many Thanks for the note, I am a very patient person, the problem is that if a site is not functional for a week, people will not return,
After 5 hard years I fear for the worse and the forum is just about to die,
It is very sad, especially as there is nothing I can do about it.
I am in your hands but it may already be too late. Ill need a crowd gatherer after this week.
Cheers
Chris
